SHE IS OFFICIAL!
My wonderful and ambitious daughter Oktavia, who has literally grown up in the salon is now under an official apprenticeship with me! While she pursues her associates degree at MACC, Oktavia is also taking advantage of getting a cosmetology degree. She has a natural talent and passion for the industry(hmmm...wonder where she gets that from?) and a mom who loves to share the knowledge.
UPDATE: After a 3000 hour apprenticeship, Oktavia passed her Cosmetology State Board Exams On First attempt!
Oktavia is amazing with fashion haircolor, including trendy techniques like rainbow, prism and neon shades.
She can also knock out a flawlessly blended highlight or balayage.
Schedule a manicure or eyebrow waxing and you will be more than happy.
Missouri state board of cosmetology and barber examiners requirement before being eligible to take the state board test is 1500 hours of school, or 3000 hours of apprenticeship under a licensed Apprentice instructor. After completion of hours and specified study curriculum she will be eligible to take the State Board Theory and Practical exams.
